A Classic and Elegant Venue
Nantes Estate is a beautiful functions venue surrounded by vineyards, panoramic views of the Paarl valley, and a backdrop of the Drakenstein mountain range.
Named after Nantes, capital of the Pays de la Loire region in France, and the Edict of Nantes, signed by Henry IV granting toleration to Protestants, the estate pays homage to freedom and the French Huguenots who settled in the Franschhoek region of South Africa.
A Grand Impression
As you enter through the main gates, you will be greeted by a sweeping driveway lined with well-kept vineyards, and majestic mountain views of the Paarl Valley and Drakenstein Mountain range. Drive up the hill to the main house where you will find an exquisite formal garden laid out with topiary, a beautiful tiered fountain, and romantic gazebo.

There is something beautiful to see wherever you look: the estate gardens and vineyards, Paarl landscape, and beyond to the mountains.
Moments from the front door you will find a tranquil tiered fountain surrounded by the formal front garden.
The Victorian-style gazebo is adored by every bride who has chosen Nantes Estate as her wedding venue.
Whether you are staying in a suite or hosting a function, enjoy the garden, grounds and views from the porch, patio or balcony.
Accessible from the pool patio, the crystal clear outdoor swimming pool is embraced by the main house for privacy and convenience.
A Classic Interior
The main house has been transformed into an elegant function venue that can comfortably seat 200 guests banquet style or 160 for a dinner dance. There are also four beautifully decorated suites available for accommodation.
The versatile flow of the interiors and amenities provide an ideal venue for your wedding, conference, special event, training seminar, corporate entertainment, exhibition or product launch. The boardroom opens up into a beautifully decorated library/sitting room, which in turn opens onto a patio overlooking the vineyards and mountains.

There are four stylish suites on the ground floor. The largest of these is perfect for the bride to prepare in style and comfort.

TV and Games Room
On the ground floor is a fun and safe playroom for children, where they can keep busy with games or TV during your event.
